Warrington BID Provides Anti-Spiking Kits to Local Pubs

Warrington’s pubs and bars are continuing their commitment to customer safety this festive season. At the latest Pubwatch meeting, Warrington BID provided a new supply of anti-spiking kits to local venues as part of ongoing town centre safety measures.

Andrea Morely, Warrington BID Manager, attended the session to distribute the kits, which will now be available across a wide range of pubs and bars in Warrington. This initiative strengthens the partnership between Warrington BID and the town’s licensed venues, giving teams practical tools to help safeguard customers during one of the busiest times of the year.

Pubwatch meetings play an important role in bringing venue managers and staff together to share best practice, discuss emerging issues, and coordinate safety plans. The introduction of anti-spiking kits forms part of a wider approach taken by Warrington’s licensed trade, supported by the BID, to maintain a safe and welcoming night-time environment.

These measures demonstrate how collaboration between the BID and local businesses can address real concerns, improve customer confidence, and ensure Warrington remains a safe place for residents and visitors throughout the Christmas period and beyond.
