Where to Find Dementia Support Groups in Warrington

If you are looking for support for you, a loved one or someone you care for being diagnosed with dementia there are many services in Warrington that can help.

Making Connections is a network of over 50 different groups and organisations in Warrington that support people living with dementia and their family, friends and carers.

This month they are putting on an event on Thursday, January 29th between 2pm and 4pm where you can meet the Making Connections dementia network. It is free to enter and there will be professionals available to speak to, activities and complimentary afternoon tea.

Every Monday afternoon brings Love to Move and Music & Memory groups at Salvation Army.

Love to Move is the first cognitive enhancement exercise programme of its kind in the UK, a seated movement programme to music with physical, emotional and cognitive benefits. Music & Memory is all about using singing to bring together and help people affected by dementia, providing a mutual, shared, enjoyable experience.

Tuesday’s have a full schedule with Love to Move in the morning, Still Me DEEP Group at The Living Well Hub, and Lifetime Dementia Café in the afternoon.

Plus, for dementia friendly activities and refreshments, the Life Time team host their events on Wednesdays at The Gateway.
