Warrington’s own David Mooney will be returning to the town’s food scene this Sunday as part of the live Demo Kitchen at Warrington Food and Drink Festival.
With a career spanning over 45 years, David has built a strong reputation across the region for championing local produce and creating award-winning restaurants, gastropubs and food-led businesses.
He will be preparing a special seasonal dish using fresh ingredients from Warrington Market – including chicken from John Cross Butchers and vegetables from Warrington Fruit and Veg – showcasing the best of Warrington’s local food offering.
Many visitors will remember David from his time running the Liverpool Cheese Company in the old Warrington Market. His passion for working with small producers has shaped his career and made him a familiar name at food festivals across the country.
