Earlier this month, Warrington BID held its Annual General Meeting at the Warrington Youth Zone, led by Andrea Morely, Warrington BID Project Manager.
Businesses and partners from across Warrington town centre were invited to attend and hear about the progress made during 2024/25.
Following welcome and intros from the Warrington BID team, and Chair of the Board, and CEO of Warrington Youth Zone Dave McNichol, the meeting gave updates on the progress of BID activities over the past year.
This included highlights from major events in the town and their impact on footfall, as well as the successes of the We Are Warrington consumer-facing web, social, and PR activities.
Updates covered Warrington BID’s three key themes of delivery:
- Passionate about our place
- Delivering an enhanced experience for consumers and visitors
- Building a supported community of businesses
Attendees also received a financial summary and a look ahead to the coming year.
Additionally, Eleanor Blackburn, Director of Place at Warrington Borough Council, provided an update on the Cheshire & Warrington Devolution Project.
