Warrington Youth Zone has received a generous donation of trainers and hoodies for its young members, from the New Balance Foundation.
The donation was rewarded following the young persons’ nomination at the Warrington Youth Awards in January, in recognition for their achievements and positive contributions to the community.
Dave McNicoll, CEO at Warrington Youth Zone adds, “We are incredibly grateful to New Balance and the New Balance Foundation for their generosity and ongoing support. These moments of recognition mean so much to our young people, not only celebrating their achievements but also boosting their confidence and sense of belonging. Partnerships like this make a real and lasting difference.”
Young members of Warrington Youth Zone were thrilled to receive the new sportswear and the gift served as a meaningful gesture of encouragement and support.
This contribution highlights the importance of partnerships between organisations and businesses to create opportunities and impactful moments for young people.
Clare Lunt, Senior HR Director, New Balance EMEA said, “Meeting the young people nominated for this year’s Warrington Youth Awards was incredibly inspiring. Hearing first‑hand how Warrington Youth Zone supports young people to build confidence, skills and ambition reinforced why partnerships like this matter so much. As an employer that has been part of the Warrington community for over 20 years, we are proud, through the New Balance Foundation, to invest in initiatives that support wellbeing, educational opportunity and future readiness, and to celebrate young people who are making such a positive contribution.”
Warrington Youth Zone extends its sincere thanks to New Balance and the New Balance Foundation for their continued generosity and commitment to supporting young people.
