Several businesses in Warrington town centre rent a communication radio system which allows safety among the community – does yours?
The system is part of a three-year contract Warrington BID has with M.R.S. Communications Ltd. Businesses can rent the communication radio system for 60% cheaper than the normal price – making it more affordable to join the scheme.
The radio link connects offices, retailers, restaurants, clubs and pubs with CCTV, Cheshire Constabulary and street pastors.
The rental cost is £3 plus VAT per week with a one off £15 carriage charge.
Businesses in the town wanting to sign up to the scheme need to complete a membership form. Licenced premise are also required to pay a £150 deposit, this deposit may also be charged to other premises if their credit rating shows them as being a risk.
